The problem with Colgan is that you'll always hear "what a great shot stopper he is" and "look how many saves he made to keep us in the game" well he'd not have to make half those bloody saves if he came off his chuffing line once in a while. for every ten good saves he makes one massive ****-up. The saves don't win us owt, the ****-ups cost us a goal.
2 ponts 1 . we wouldnt even be in this league without colgon , ignore penalty saves , see 17 clean sheets 2. we would already be relegated without him. oh and another , he could get off his line a bit more !!
was it dave watson who always came off his line? and always seemed to get lobbed! at least thats not happening! lol
the point is he is probably ***** at coming and taking a cross so the safest thing for him to do really is to stay on his line.
If he was any better at coming off his line and commanding his area, he wouldn't be playing for Tarn.
The point is the defence let 2 clean cut chances through and Colgan made 2 point blank saves ....when the rest of the team failed to clear the corner Colgan cost us the game by letting one in !! First Line of defence...attack if we have it they can't score...second line midfield.....win it back and close down....third line defence.....close down and win it.....last line.....the poor old keeper, always his fault !!!! Final point......if the strikers hit the back of the net then that one mistake would not cost us the game !!!! Start of the season we were the highest scoring team, now ......?!
