Why, how, on earth is his name in the betting for our new manager? I know the betting hasn't really got too much to do with who actually gets the job but there's no smoke without fire as they say. What is he even doing nowadays?
True, all the Man utd connections. Not the sort of guy needed for the present situation though i wouldnt suggest.
I would have him in a shot tbh, if he was interested. He was an inspirational kind of player and I would imagine he would have decent contacts and I woud much rather take a punt on him than go with a failed manager who has had one good club in 7. We are in a gambling position but an ex Man Utd/England player definitely might put a few bums on seats and get some money in.
In additon I never thought that Gary Neville would have been the person he has turned in to. He comes across as a really deep thinker on the game as a pundit and I've been really impressed with him on TV. Just because these guys have been kept away from the Cameras by Fergie we dont really know what they are like. If they have learnt from Fergie in all those years you never know their capability.
He could be a good canditate if he got himself a decent No2 not just a mate or doing somebody a favour but somebody that could really help him .but he,d probably went some money to spend and some ambition
Gary Neville is my dream manager for us, I said so last time we were looking. In reality it will not happen, but in theory it's a great idea!
Think I may change my vote from butcher to butt. now I have added him Think butt would make a great manager
I reckon Butt, and Neville, will make good managers. Probably not the right time for us to risk giving them a chance though.
