Nicky Eaden on Player this afternoon..

Can't quote him verbatim, but here's a rough summary of quotes that I can remember:

After a few minutes, he said "not surprised that another side are targeting the fullbacks, Wiseman especially"

He said a whole lot more, and said it well. I just found myself nodding in agreement. I tweeted that he should be on our coaching team, and Matt Bailey said as much himself ("poach him from Leicester") as the pair of em wrapped up the broadcast, and Nicky said summat in response but I didn't quite catch that.


Just thought I'd share his thoughts with those who were at the match, because it amazes me how a bloke can watch us once like that and sum it up so easily, yet Flitcroft couldn't see any of it.

 

Is he a coach at Leicester

 

It says so in that post of Whitey and yes he is, under 21`s coach.

 

Unfortunately our Asst Manager was party to a lot of the attitude that pervades the squad.

Danny needs his own coaching team in imho.

 

And to think he was a 'scapegoat' for some!!!!!! If only he was back .... In fact I'd have him now in front of our current full backs

Nicky calls a good game and isn't afraid to dish out the painful truths. If only we had him now.

 

From what I saw of Leicester u21's last season it's a shame he doesn't coach what he says.

Well this girl agrees too! I thought Nicky Eaden had it spot on with his commentary. Whitey has summed him up pretty accurately too from what I recall. To say he was frustrated with our full backs is a massive understatement.
