I'm one of his biggest critics, but I must say that the 'boy done well' when he came on today, I was very impressed. He was enthusiastic, got stuck in, and really helped us cope with just the 10 men. Well done Nicky.
Did well when he came on. Worked hard and helped us to break up their play. However does not cut the mustard for me..lacks real ability and has a general lack of concentration. Horses for courses though served his purpose today.
As I say Daz, I'm not his biggest fan by a long shot but I will always praise players who do well, especially ones I don't rate - credit where credit's due and all that.
I'm not his biggest fan but I think he had a real good game today. Pity he didn't take the man on when he was one on one and got caught dithering.
Thought he was excellent But then again I like him, young lad still learning the game but improving all the time. Unfortunately, as we were discussing on way home from the game, it seems theres a section of fans who get on the back of home grown players - we put it down to jealousy, seems they don't like to see "one of their own" getting on.
