Gillingham are hoping to sign him and they must be in with a chance as he wants to return south as he said when he left Barnsley to join the Blades.

He left us to join Crystal Palace.

Sad thing is we might have persuaded him to do six months with us to try and keep us up...

Scored 31 in 88 appearances for Barnsley. To Wimbledon 2003/4. Then Palace but only made 3 substitute appearances. In 2004/5 moved to Blades.

    He isn't the answer

its 6 years since Neil Shipperley played and scored all those goals for us.

Ok he had a good season with the blunts, but he was playing in a promotion winning team, players with better ability, players that create more chances.

His careers now on the slide, not what we need
