    Evens favourite for Blackpool job now. Barmy decision. Worst sacking of the season after two quick promotions taking over a team looking like going to League 2. They don't sack him when they were struggling, but get rid when they finally are used to the premiership and have done well recently. I guess coming from 2 down to get a point at the champions league holders away from home isn't good enough.

    Crazy decision, just what do club owners want, 2 successive promotions, out of relegation zone - shame we aren't still looking for a manager

    Yeah I know a Southampton fan and they idolised Atkins and no wonder with 2 promotions to his name. How can the board at Soton think that this is in anyway a positive decision. The fans won't like it and neither will the players. They're probably destined for relegation now - barmy!
