10 years at Burton, 2 promotions, leaves them top of the league - hardly leaving them in the lurch and he deserves a shot at a higher level.
Of course he does. Im not criticising him for being ambitious and this is a great chance for him which may have not come again. Just expected to see him take them into the football league and then move on.
He's all but done the job at Burton, they are 13 points clear at the top and played Kettering off the park when I saw them earlier in the year. Head n shoulders above everything else in the league and would take a spectacular collapse not to go up now. Thought Forest would have gone for him tbh, Derby have got a good manager there.
