Miles Addison is back with Derby County after completing his loan stint at Barnsley. The 23-year-old versatile player, who can operate in central defence or central midfield, spent the first half of the season on loan at Derby's npower Championship rivals and made nine appearances for the Tykes. He extended his stay in Yorkshire by a further month at the beginning of January and went on to make a further four appearances for Keith Hill's men. With his additional month now over, Addison is back with the Rams and trained with the rest of the Derby squad on Monday morning at Moor Farm ahead of Tuesday's game with Barnsley. However, Rams boss Nigel Clough says the cover provided by Jake Buxton and Tom Naylor in defence, as well as the addition of loan signing Tom Carroll in midfield, means Addison will have his work cut out to force his way into the first-team squad. Manager Nigel Clough said: "Miles is back with us and we'll see how things are with him. "Unfortunately for Miles we're well covered at centre-back and also in midfield at the moment so it's difficult to see where we'll get him in right now." Addison has made 77 first-team appearances for the Rams since graduating from the Derby County Academy. Can we have him back then please?
