Just listened to Nigel Pearson's post-match interview - says we were all about time-wasting and delaying tactics? There was absolutely none of that at all, the only time there was a delay was when the ball boys took ages to retrieve the ball. Leicester didn't exactly rush at getting the ball back in play when they were leading. He didn't mention the fact that the referee and his assistants seemingly did everything in their power to ensure Leicester had the chance to get an equaliser. Free kicks given to them for nothing and would never give us one, one of the biggest ironic cheers I've ever heard from our corner when we finally did get one. Free kicks that looked for all the world to be in our favour for some reason given the other way around? When our players broke free the linesmen immediately assumed they must be offside and flagged accordingly, on at least one occasion definitely onside, very marginal for the others. Leicester were given a few corners that weren't corners, we had clear corners that weren't given. I was convinced at some point the ref would find some reason to give them a penalty. Fair play to them today though, a lot of accumulators would have been ruined with that result. Only gripe was we sat back far too early in the second half, what we did in the first half seemed to be a lot less comfortable for Leicester, instead we hoofed the ball up the pitch and just kept waiting for them to attack. We went from looking the better side to possibly even losing it at the end. Luke Steele has to take a lot of credit and whoever it was who cleared off the line a few times. Oh and Kelvin Etuhu - what a waste of space that guy is.
I had to listen to the Leicester radio commentary, and they suggested bringing Futacs on was there best hope of getting a pen.
Ref was an absolute disgrace - worst we've had for a long time, and there's been plenty of competition
