"The Striker III 14-15 Kit was introduced last year and is based on an old Australia kit. It caused some problems with sponsor logos and features a stripe on the sleeves"

They're not very inspiring really. Nike need a new designer. We don't wear stripes or hoops, so they're out. I suppose one of the others will do so long as it isn't the Precision II which looks like someone dipped the shirt in a bath of bleach. It'd be nice to have a kit designed just for us.

I honestly think that Nike are deliberately going for the least detailed designs because it is the cheapest way to mass produce them.
Adidas have more interesting designs which I assume cost more to mass produce. It's probably good commercial sense buy Nike, because football fans will seemingly accept any old tat. But I think maybe they're on thin ice doing it season after season.

Always liked Adidas football shirts, are they still in football though? Can't remember the last time I saw a team wear one of their shirts.

Umbro's the rare one these days, Nike took them over, took their best teams and now they don't have any league teams but next season they're back with Everton which is good I think, bring back Umbro and Admiral, Nike only jumped on the football bandwagon after the 1990 World Cup when football crossed over to the middle classes and became really popular.

The reason for the cheaper shirt makers is simple...you can only charge a certain amount for an adult shirt, about 40 quid. So if you get a cheaper maker, the shirts may cost the club say a tenner each. so the club nets 30 quid a sale...Where as firms like Adidas want top dollar say 30 quid a shirt and then the club only gets a tenner a shirt...Thats why you can wish all you want, but we will always be at the lower end of the market
As for nike it goes to prove how down market there stuff is, if we shop there, its all Polyester, which is recycled plastic.

Not slagging the club here, its a needs must thing
