    Not looking good at all.

On a side note I am at a loss as to how constant timewasting, 6 subs, one sending off and at least one treatment can result in only 4 minutes added. Bent.

I thought both Haynes and Davies were poor today, Davies was also poor on Tuesday night, Haynes a little better. If that performance had been from Andy Gray then fans would be giving him dogs abuse, as he's new I guess he has some goodwill in the bank, more performances like that and it'll be quickly spent.
Vaz Tey would start instead of Haynes for me, he at least carried a threat with the ball and didn't just kick it and run like Haynes. If Hill was more attack minded you might drop Doyle, move Perkins back into the middle and play Vaz Tey, Davies and Haynes. Perkins and Addison were the best players today, has to be said they were best of a bad bunch, we were really given the run-around by Southampton make no mistake. Having said that I do think Southampton will get promoted this season they are a very good side with bags of cash, we cannot compete in the market and it showed today on the pitch, simply put, their players were better than ours. Could be a long season ahead.......

Davies has not got a bloody prayer playing in a 4-5-1 with Haynes on his left, Perkins on his right and Doyle as the most advanced midfielder. Haynes hasn't got the foggiest idea how to play that position, Perkins drifts into the centre and should be playing in the centre, and Doyle may as well have sat down for most of the game until he was replaced.

If we're using that system it needs to be Vaz Te & RNL, who will at least try and support the centre forward.

I thought Davies did alright 2nd half, might have been a bit unlucky not to get a penalty, and put a goal on a plate for about 3 of his team mates in the last minute that we somehow contrived to miss.

Not being today, was it self confidence?

We seemed to be intimidated by the occasion, whether it was because we were chasing shadows from the off and the players thoughts became negative, or whether they didn't like the system, we certainly lacked belief that we could win the game, think we'd lost it in our heads before the ball had been kicked.

agree with everything said except perkins and addison, addison just seems a little slow, would like to see him running forward more. MOTM Vaz Te
