He and his assistant refused to talk on Foootball heaven lastnight aswel. Think its likely to be because they slate him when he not doing well, and praise him after examples like lastnight. He does right if you ask me!

 

Well he'll expect praise when he's doing well, and on the reverse he'll get slated when we play like we did against Colchester.

It's not the losing, it's how we lost.
Same goes for the winning. Last night we played well, and the players looked like they knew what was expected of them.

He can't expect one and not the other.

 

It does seem that radio Sheffield over react to our performances and never criticise Sheff W etc who havent won a game in 2007

I havent heard last nights result being mentioned on Radio Sheff this morning, altho I could have missed it

 

I think they say it like they see it

When we're crap they say so. When we're good they say so. Balanced journalism.

they did mention the result and played the commentary for the 3rd goal at 8:20

Sheff W havent won a game this year. Fans come on and slate Brian Laws and they defend the club and the manager. It doesnt seem to be the same with BFC.

Therefore non balanced journalism.

 

The club cannot afford to alienate the local media at this stage of the proceedings. If Davey isn't man enough to face them and answer pertinent questions in an adult manner, then he is without doubt in the wrong job. This is no time to be petty and childish.

Did not the guy from Oakwell am do Radio Sheffield last night, Andy Firth certainly gave the team news as Dave Cooper was not there.

Oakwell Am went off air at about 9.45 so perhaps they did not get the post match reaction or send it to Radio Sheffield.

Perhaps it's Radio Sheffield not sending there own people to cover the game that is the problem
