Who are they? I know a.lass.whose family have made millions. Selling sex aids and **** books.has.been honored
Maybe no one has nominated him. Maybe he doesn't want them to. I don't know, I don't know the man personally and I don't know if anyone has gone through the nomination procedure or not, but if they haven't, the honours committee aren't to blame for not honouring him and honouring people who have been nominated.
Why don't you nominate him if you feel so strongly about it? It's quite a lengthy process though and requires a lot of effort and hard work.
He could fill out the forms for us all while we're all on a jolly up weekend at Wembley. Just an idea.
Maybe the organisation where he has given 70 years service spend the time filling it in - maybe they should feel strongly about it enough to do something
Aye! I've wasted it on far worse over the years watching the Reds. Plymouth away on Boxing Day springs to mind! Listen it's a £5 in and my lad is giddy to go. Wether we get to Wembley is another matter. But if we do one thing is for sure. Sons 11 now and if I didn't go and take him (a) I'm a **** dad (b) he'd never forgive me Looking back it took nearly 30 years to see my team at Wembley. Wouldn't have missed it for the world, who'd have thought we'd ever get there again in our lifetime. Then we did again but he was too young. So if we do get there I look back thinking if as an 11 year old my Dad was sat at home with me watching on TV while the team trot out on the Wembley pitch...... I'd be in care now. So yes, I'll waste £10 for 2 hours. Plus Wembley Finals on my birthday so reckon mi mother will pay;-)
Amen to that! But they've recently failed to permanently honour him so I can't see that happening. Stonesy gets a room named after him after 20 games. Rimmo not even as much as the tea urn after 70 years service!
Some people are offered honours and turn them down, not saying Normans done this, but others have...Didn't John Lennon?
