it tells me

that we are playing a sunday league team who have no shape or quality and he's managed to score twice. It means nothing about lampard.

 

Tells you nothing... Its Andorra ffs. Lampard would have probbaly scored 2 if he was playing even with Gerrard or not.

Although after his interview following the Israel game he'll no diubt be telling us what an excellent professional performance it was and that there are no easy games in International football.

..they are two of the same type of player and you could play either of them in that attacking midfield position and they will both do just as well. But its no good playing Gerrard wide right cos in my opinion he is wasted...bit like playing Howard wide left!!

but come on I honestly don't think a game against amateur players can tell you anything about the likes of Gerrard, we were never going to get out of first gear against them, we just about did the job and that's it. It remains to be seen which of the 'ard lads is the best choice although Steve is clearly on better international form at the moment.

Cant remember Lampard ever getting hold of a game by the scruff of the neck for England.

even without last night i think it was very obvious we need gerrard in the middle and hargreaves gives us a defence option in the middle so that about solves that problem and lampard sits on the bench whats wrong with that?

 

It tells you that we are playing with 2 wingers, neither of whom

can put in a decent cross. It shows that we haven't the creativity to supply the strikers so need a midfield player to score goals against a fourth rate team.

Joe Cole played well the last few games he played for England. In the WC he was our most creative player.
