no leagues for under 8's - a football thread .nt

Do you think this is a good idea??? or are the FA clutching at straws?
no league tables for under 8 yr olds football.

I understand it.... but dont think it will work....
surely the kids will still want to beat each other...
but then again i dont have any kids....

Nothing New the Doncaster Junior League runs as none competitive until U10's.
Its only when they get to U11's and 11a-side that they bring a league structure into place. The idea is that the kids play for enjoyment only and without the added pressure of needing to win to obtain 3 points.
