Doesn't matter what other teams do at this stage, if we keep winning then someone else is bound to slip up and get sucked into it. We've made this mess it is up to us to get ourselves out of it.
We can't rely on other teams whatsoever. Our horrendous start to the season is what will see us relegated. it's a shame we seem to have found a decent defensive centre half pairing when it's pretty much too little too late.

On the other side of that coin, if we win tomorrow night, with boro Wigan and stoke losing, we’d go third bottom and only three points from safety. Win our games and we stay up, simple as that.
Its hard to take but the other teams around us are fighting for their championship status too. We are bottom of the table because we've been tripe more often than others.
Plenty of ups and downs to come before end of season , can’t expect others to keep losing and can’t expect us to keep winning . We’ve given ourselves a chance which after the Brum game is a relief.

Currently it is in our hands- to take an extreme case we can finish with 67 points if we win all 12 of our remaining games being more realistic if we win half of them and get to 49 points its unlikely we will go down. True how other teams perform has some bearing and it would have been better for us if Luton and Huddersfield had lost and some seasons 43 points is enough others you need 50+ The way I look at it - we were as good as down at Christmas and 2 games ago needed 8 wins from 14 games to give ourselves a decent chance of survival which was never going to happen so still as good as down Now we need 6 wins from 12 - still its unlikely and we will probably still go down- come Saturday it could be 6 from 10 or 4 from 10 but I would take 5 from 10 if offered it now. A win tonight would be great and help but lose tonight and it just gives us one fewer game to get the wins from
If we had any luck an older head like Solbauer would have been brought in last summer and Strubber would have taken Anderson out of the firing line much sooner like we could all see he should do.
He could have taken Andersen out earlier and replaced him with Halme and Dougall or Stiles could have come in depending where he wanted to play Mowatt.
