That means the attendance will be less than 22,424 then. Confirms that we have lost a lot of seats due to safety, segregation and tv requirements.

    I'd Rather............

Chelsea pay for empty seats that they don't sell, than having more fans in the North Stand getting behind their team.

Another few hundred won't make a great deal of difference to the overall noise....and with almost 3 times as many home fans then we should be able to make plenty of noise anyway.
It'll be great to see the stadium as full as possible for a change, particularly with the game on TV.

Not if you're one of those fans without a ticket

Who will be watching it on tv, praying we lose, praying for relegation, praying we go into admni again.................

Should be a fantastic atmosphere, Chelsea aren't known as been the most vocal these days anyway, 14,000 Reds fans ahould be able to prove that!

There are at least the front 2 rows of the North Stand empty for starters. We won't know what else until we get into the ground on Saturday.

Must be at least 600 unused seats out of a capacity of 23,009 otherwise it wouldn't be the biggest FA Cup attendance since the Leeds game in 1991 (22,424) but since the Sheffield Utd Replay in 1990 (26,560)

well if chelsea sell their full allocation there wont be any seats empty in north stand........ 6,000 tickets in a 6,000 capacity stand = no empty seats

    No it isn't....

And not selling the front rows isn't segregation either... its simply to help stop pitch invasions...

It doesn't matter whether you call it segregation, safety or stupidity, the seats are still not in use and lower the capacity!

I think 5,782 is likely to be the correct figure. 6,000 is rounding it up.
