I will even go so far as to say that game should be investigated for match-fixing. That was just awful, awful refereeing. How much was he paid? Meantime, well done You Reds. A great away point earned. YES!
I hardly think that decision tonight comes close to making things even Remember Pedro Mendes & Andy Liddle
Couldn't happen to a nicer club imho. It was a joy to see Fergie's OTT reaction and he's so miffed he couldn't even come out for an interview. All the thousands of plastic Man U fans all over the country crying into their beer......priceless.
Note the word ALL in the subject line - some people seem to think they get every call, every game. I was there for the Andy Liddle incident and was enraged. Just saying that they get bad calls, just like any team does. Tonight was appalling - no way on earth was that ever a red card (maybe a foul, not even a yellow) as he did not even see the RM player coming, he was going for the ball. Man U should have had a penalty in the 91st minute too. Irregular betting patterns being investigated, I wonder?
I was stuck in a bar in Austria wathching the Man U game and following ours on my phone, I'd have preferred Man U to win but not really that bothered but I must admit I had to laugh at the refereeing. He was poor and the red card a joke but we get refs like that several times a season - poor fergie and the plastic fans - wonder how sorry they feel for us when we get the sh`t refs trouble is I cant stand the special one either or the guy that scored the winning goal I hope someone like Borussia Dortmund win the cup
Source of much debate in our house... never a sending off in my opinion, but a definite booking. His foot was high, accidentaly at first, but, I think once it's there, he follows through a bit and pushes the player away with his foot.... and I think that's what the ref sees... I think it's a bad decision by the ref, but I don't think it's match fixing or anything like. I'd prefer to see an investigation into Ferdinand's awful reaction - Again. I don't care the importance of the match, the levels of disrespect are unbelievable. But ****** to that... you Reds! Good point.
Bile and jealousy. No, not really. My gripe is with all the saddoes who latch on to Man Utd when they have absolutely no connection to them at all. It's more pity really....oh and a good deal of amusement on occasions like tonight.
I'm sure if that had been any other English team in Europe you would say the ref was wrong but as its Man Utd you can't see past your all consuming hatred. Then again we don't know would've happened if Nani had stayed on but it was looking good for United in my opinion.
It's a clear as day red card, deep down I think the commentary team thought so too but felt stupid back tracking. Nani clearly kicks out on his way down. Violent conduct, red card, simples
****** butler. I do have a connection, some of my family are Liverpool fans, my dad and me are tykes. So I have good reason to hate the ****ers
Red for me too. If Nani had tried to avoid it once he realised the Real player was there he may have got away with it. But he didn't. He extended his leg into the Real player.
Spot on, don't know what the fuss is about, Nani clearly kicks out after he puts his foot up .......of course its understandable Man u fans think its not a red card because week in week out such an incident by a Man U player doesn't get punished ,so they think its harsh and a cheat , its not of course
