Although we've had a shocking start, we've been a little bit unfortunate as well and let's not forget, our top 2 players have only just come back into the team - Muller & De Silva - and Campbell-Ryce has missed a few games as well due to injury. Then Iain Hume, managed to get himself a ban and Rigters ended up injured as well. Doesn't anyone think Simon Davey has been unlucky? He's not go the biggest squad & a few key players haven't been available.
ignoring a proven international ahead of a 15year old schoolboy no offence to rueben but Daveys lost the plot
no and its his squad now, no excuses. injuries happen to every team. when you've got 6-7 players injured then you can ask for leniancy. 2 players is not an excuse.
Not forgetting the Colace fiasco too We have a decent keeper (well apart from today), a decent defence, a decent midfield and er... an attack that needs sorting out. But it'll come good.
It's a GOOD squad, not a GREAT squad. He is too stuborn to say we need a striker. Look at Gallagher's two goals for Plymouth. He may well have considered us on loan. A damn sight nearer Blackburn than Devon! Unless he pulls either a win out fo the bag on Saturday, or a hard luck draw and a good striker loanee, softee PC must act. Personally if Davey resigned I'd have some respect left for him.

he had the entire summer to get the right cover in even when he knew colace couldnt play. he has fallen on the sword.
Get him owt! I dont see how people can still want him to stay, how can he? why can he? 10 games played, 9 losses! WTF?? ITS TIME TO GO MR DAVEY, NO MATTER WOT ANYONE SAYS!!
Do what I'm going to do and log out mate. It's no good trying to reason with anyone tonight. Most have become hysterical.
2 players not an excuse? maybe you're right but these 2 are big players for us - do you think we'd have had such a bad start with these 2 playing from the off?
We must win Satday then take it from there. If we don't the crowd will turn big style and force Cryne's hand. For me Davey got too big for his boots making stupid comments about giving somebody a thrashing. Should have just kept his head down. Also we have a squad with no goals in it, we haven't got a single player at the club with a decent goal scoring record at any level, that must be addressed straight away or we're down.
Sorry your talking Crap. You make your own luck! Why keep backing Davey. Coz he will turn it round? Balls he will. He stays we gone down miserably and we will be put back years. Change it now and we might stand a chance.
depends, which two players are we now putting on the physio table. if two players are injured that shouldn't be an excuse, what happens if both go in january, because theres a real chance they might, do we stick our heads between our legs and kiss our arse goodbye??
if we sack the man, where will we be in 5 months time? selling off another squad for other 'swoop signings'. WAKE UP
I agree mate,he is bein stubborn with the striker situation, i think everyone is pulling their hair out on that one. We need a decent striker on loan with a view to permanent deal, hopefully Howard's sale will be enough to fund a decent player.
