Prior to today I was reluctantly happy to have Danny continue. Now he's gone I realise that this was blinkered by nostalgia. Let's be honest apart from a few little glimpses and odd performance at the beginning of the season we have been terrible. Even when we win we are rubbish. I don't think that's because we have bad players it's because of poor tactics and a lack of commitment. With the right man I think we will do well. We've got some good players, just needs someone to bang some heads together, get the simply things right and we'll be there. As much as people don't like it, Danny is not that man. Clubs like Fleetwood and Notts County have come to Oakwell and won on passion and organisation alone. Shaun Derry turned that game around without even kicking a ball. We get that attitude we will do well as we have players with plenty of potential to boot. The club want us to succeed. What's wrong with that! It's what we all want. They should be praised for that. They might get it wrong, but the intention to succeed is good. Better than some of the intention on the pitch at present. We move on.
Your right in what you say, the reaction of this board today is unbelievable!! Results don't lie, he's had all the players he wants and he's failed to deliver, I am a little shocked but at the same time I can see why the club have done it. If this was any other manager would we have this reaction.........NO. TOO MANY PEOPLE LIVING IN THE PAST
