    Me - sick of the moaners on here berating club, board and manager on back of reports from "TykesMAD" and some unknown southern local paper which probably has less credibility than the Chronicle!

    Ben dropped some cheesy coleslaw down his shirt at lunchtime. It fell from an ill prepared sandwich in the canteen and marked his red tie. He's subsequently changed it with one he keeps in his desk draw (2nd one down on the left).

    We've had a statement from Mansford via radio Sheffield and a website statement from Danny.I would rather wait until there's something to announce but in fairness to them both they've let us know that nothing is happening at the minute apart from loads of work behind the scenes.

    there is too much over reaction to everything these days because of the various differant media sites and its too easy for people to start rumours etc which other people take litterally.....in my day you didnt know who we had signed until you saw them holding a Barnsley scarf in the local paper....

    I'm pretty speechless how no confirmed news just a short time from the end of the season can generate such reaction and offensive hostility at the club.

    Hopefully the club don't tar all fans, the way that some fans tar the entire club.

    Maybe the club should set up a BBS where only players and staff can comment, but instead of commenting on aspects of the club, they comment on this BBS and its posters mirroring language and tone.

    The players didn't do us great credit last year, but some "fans" are doing even less so since the season ended.
