The N95 has a bigger screen and better resolution and there is an 8gb version available now which is useful if you are going to use it as an MP3 player. Bigger screen v Better Flash/Better quality photos
Had N95 for 6 months found it good but its decided that it won't send texts anymore as the RAM is full. Tried everything to sort it out but still no joy. Took it back to Carphonewarehouse and its going to take up to 28 days to repair. Stupid thing is that if I drive over it (by accident of course) I'll have a brand new one delivered tomorrow!!
The key differences On the N95, they're a traditional, square-ish design, with the numbers printed on each key. On the N82, they're much smaller....more of a stud-stype, with the numbers printed on the main body of the phone. Hope that's helpful.
ive got the N95 its a decent phone, dunno what the issue is with the "proper flash" but mines got 1 on? got a 4gb card for £18, also the n95 with built in 8gb dont have the lens protecter that the basic 1 does, dont ask me why cos its a cracking idea most phones dont have, flashed it myself to get rid of the network crap and its ace, 5mp camera,sat-nav (costs extra) wireless net, mp3 player and ok for the lad to watch film on in car, though he's jus got a psp! oh...and if u want to do something wierd on it, u can call people too!
RE: Thanks re:satnav 47 squid for 3 years + your network usage its a bit slow to connect sometimes, hence i only use mine now and then and didnt purchase the full version.
RE: Thanks re:satnav you can use the satnav in tracking mode airy - it just doesnt talk to you or follow trak the route behind it - it moves you on th map but doesnt spin to the direction your going - can be confusing sometimes if you need to see where you are heading on a road. Its handy for when you get lost, or need to see how to get somewhere - and also searching for pubs/restaurants nearest you. You can do all this for nowt.
all in all go for the N95 if: you want wifi, occasional sat nav usage, email, internet and good camera phone. avoid the N95 if you dont use for the above cos the battery life if a pain in the arse and will catch you out. If you use the camera or sat nav etc for a while expect it to be almost flat every day. Its a daily charge! i like the blogging features on it as well - or i would if i didnt have some images stuck in the drafts folder cos it was too big - and wont even open now as it locks it up. Nitemare. You get the odd random reboot but apart from the drawbacks i like it. The wifi was the thing i went for mainly - install an app called Truphone and then wherever you are in the world you get free calls to certain places. Saved 100+ on calls while on holiday! Paid for itself in a way.
Nothing to do with the fact that.... ...your phone had been dropped more times than tennis ball
Stanley

dont ask me how.. but flashing it is supposed to increase the battery life and free up ram so it runs quicker, cant say ive really noticed?
RE: ive got the N95 It's got a flash like those found on a normal digital camera not just an LED one.
