    Does anyone know where I can get some electrically controlled (not manual) big digit displays (at least 10 inches high) for making a scoreboard?

    Thanks mate

    Electronic scoreboard project underway for cricket club. Ok with the software and all the electronics etc just need some big numbers what we can control. LEDs not too good as they are not so visible in direct sunlight.

    As you suggest we will probably finish up making our own - ready made scoreboards cost upwards of £3k miles out of our league.
