I think I'm going to get some Pirellis - they look like fun!

The like button has disappeared, otherwise I would have considered pushing it.

I think "considered" is fair enough. On a more interesting front Paul, I'm looking forward to Lambchop acoustic in Paris tomorrow. Dunno much about Band of Horses though so that'll be a new one on me. Hope you're enjoying The Tinklers.

BB-Chile has already disappointed by not alerting me to the Leeds gig. (You should recruit him to the shimmy disc project by the way and load bearing pillar) I have been composing a Tinklers response in my drafts and will forward, I think the Television Personalities figured in my notes. Then I will catch up on my other homework, I think I'm currently 3 behind.

Band of Horses are a funny bunch, seemingly a lot going for them but too many beardy egos running amok I suspect. A bit style over substance too, but I do like this one. It's on my Beyond Beatles top 1000 compilation.

Adequate backing for Kurt though, I'm sure.

Where did that week go? Anyway, to report on the concert it was a grand night out. I really enjoyed the Band of Horses set, as did Mrs Burgundy Red and our Parisian hosts, and if I'm honest then they shaded the evening over a slightly disappointing Lambchop. Having seen Lambchop at full strength in York and also having seen Kurt "Solo in Oslo" (anagrammatical gigging - classy) the cut-down 6-piece acoustic set didn't really do it for me - it was neither fish nor fowl. I can recommend Cité de la Musique as a venue though - great acoustics and a good atmosphere.
