Is the paid for AVG anti-virus programme any good, keep getting offered 3 months free then £29.95 for the next 12 months, is this a good deal or is there any better free/low cost protection out there? T.i.a.

Avira is consistently rated the best free antivirus protection.

The built in Windows one is perfectly fine.

I don’t see a need to buy one unless you go on particularly dodgy websites frequently or you need higher than normal security for any reason. Free ones are fine for normal use.

The free ones are just fine. I use a VPN when I fancy cracking one off to RedTube gym lesbians.
