    Stupid question I know, and one that I really should know at my age....But how do I stop a programme (ie: ICQ) from starting up on start up? Just want it to sit there until we tell it to start!

    Go to run
    type "msconfig"
    go to the start up tag
    Untick any programs you don't wanna start
    Reboot PC
