Can anyone help. I can text my daughter but she cant text me, I am not recieving her texts. She can text anyone else and I can recieve texts from anyone else. She can ring me but not text....hope this makes sense..any ideas? She has an Iphone5 I have a bog standard Samsung Pay n Go Flip phone...She could text me but for some reason last week I stopped recieving them...god I'm cr@p at explaining things...Here's Hoping.
That's actually a surprisingly common problem. The problem is that it could be due to several things. Check to see if you can block people on your phone, if you can then you might have blocked her. If not then well, ignore that bit. It could be something wrong with your phone or something wrong with hers, or something wrong at your providers end or at hers. basically it's a nightmare to try and sort. Sorry I can't be of more help but the last time it happened to me it only resolved itself when the other person bought a new phone.
Thanks mate,I cant block anyone on my phone and they're both quite new phones...god knows whats causing it...cheers anyway.
Ask your daughter to check she's not sending the texts to your email address. If she has both stored in her iphone it may be sending them as iMessages that you can't receive.
