    just rented the entire 1st series, absolutely brilliant, can't wait to rent the rest, is it just as good all way through?

    No, it's better! Each series is better than the last.
    After watching them all once already I am currently watching them again. It's the type of thing you could watch over again and again without getting bored of it.
    Absolutly brilliant.

    Yes it is....gets better although I think it tailed off a bit in series 5 - started to get a little too "soapy", but the final series was good.



    Still not as good as The West Wing though!

    It's consistently brilliant, every series is superbly written and acted. There's an episode, entitled 'The Pine Barrens', in the third series which is directed by Steve Buscemi that really sticks out as being particularly excellent. Also If anything series one is one of the weaker series, so if you've enjoyed that then you should definitely watch series two, I'm sure you'll be hooked after that.

    Actually when Steve Buscemi's character comes in that's pretty good too.</p>
