    Seemingly it's all to with Saharan dust particles picked up by Hurricane Ophelia.

    Passed same comment to the wife coming out of bridlington a couple of hours ago....It must be something in the atmosphere causing the said effect unless it's not the sun really and it's that planet X ( Nibiru) that they keep denying exists ......failing that the yanks are walking on the moon again in high viz jackets.

    According to the news, these strong winds made the sun hazy with a mix of Saharhan dust and smoke from Portugese forest fires.
    Looked odd how everything appeared a pewter like colour, like a very old photo. So much so that when I drove past Oakwell earlier, I glanced at the West Stand and thought 'Wow, is that new'.
