    </h1></div><div class="viewarticlepanel"><div class="multiimageon" id="MainMultiImage"><div class="off noprint" id="divGalleryLink">View Gallery</div> </div> </div> <div class="byline" id="ds-byline">By Ian Appleyard </div> <div class="ds-firstpara" id="ds-firstpara">BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey believes this season's FA Cup adventure has finally put the club back on the footballing map.

    </div> <div class="va-bodytext" id="va-bodytext">The Tykes have been out of the spotlight for the majority of the last 10 years after enjoying a brief taste of life in the top flight.

    But now, after shocking Liverpool in the fifth round, the Tykes will host Chelsea tomorrow in an FA Cup quarter-final at Oakwell.

    Davey, who will highlight the difference between the two clubs by offering Chelsea manager Avram Grant a meat pie after the game, said: &quot;Ten years ago, Barnsley were in the Premier League and they put this town on the map. Hopefully, we are starting to bring that back.

    &quot;We are only 90 minutes away from a semi-final at Wembley and that is an added incentive,&quot; he said. &quot;But just getting to the quarter-final is fantastic and the whole town is buzzing. This is how we want to be all the time.&quot;

    Davey admits that his 'spying mission' to Chelsea's midweek Champions League victory over Greek side Olympiacos was an 'unnerving' experience and highlighted the depth of quality at the Premier League club.

    However, Chelsea could still be in for a culture shock when they visit Oakwell. As far removed as it gets from champagne and caviar, Davey will stick to his routine of inviting the rival manager in for a pie.

    &quot;We always invite the managers throughout the league to come in and have a drink after the game,&quot; said Davey. &quot;We share our pies, peas and chips in the coaches office and I am sure Avram Grant will want to sample one of the pies. They are very good, especially the meat and potato. I think they also have them in the boardroom so Roman Abramovich could try one if he likes.&quot;

    Abramovich's millions have turned Chelsea into one of the richest clubs in the world and they have lost only three times in 37 games since Grant stepped into the role vacated by Jose Mourinho.

    Barnsley, in contrast, have been slipping down the Championship table after a promising start to the season and are without a win in four games since springing the fifth-round shock against Liverpool.

    &quot;We will relish the challenge,&quot; said Davey. &quot;The game is a sell-out and having the likes of Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard on display at Oakwell means it will be a great occasion for the fans. We want to make the town proud.

    &quot;It was unnerving watching Chelsea on Wednesday night. You see them on the TV and you don't really realise how good they are and how quick they are. Their movement is a different class.

    &quot;I did have a plan but then I went to watch them and now I'm not sure I've got the same plan,&quot; he said

    &quot;I'm sure we can give them a better game than Olympiacos. Hopefully, we won't catch Chelsea on a day like that and they will catch us on one of our good days.

    &quot;If that happens, the margin between us will be a little smaller and maybe we can get the result we need.

    &quot;My players are cocky and they have a belief that they are good enough to play in the Premier League. When they are playing against the Drogbas and Lampards they will want to show that.&quot;

    Whether Chelsea will gamble on wholesale changes remains to be seen but goalkeeper Petr Cech will definitely be missing due to an ankle injury.

    Barnsley will have to replace defender Lewin Nyatanga and striker Jon Macken, who are both cup-tied, and full-back Marciano Van Homoet is the only fresh doubt.

    Defender Stephen Foster, one of the goalscorers in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool, admits that some of the players are nervous about taking on Chelsea but are still determined to enjoy the occasion.

    &quot;We are looking forward to it and it will be a great test for us,&quot; said Foster, who has never played top-flight football.

    &quot;It is only natural to be a little nervous before a game like this but we are determined to enjoy things.

    &quot;We are playing against the best players in the world and it should be a great day.

    &quot;You never know what might happen,&quot; he added. &quot;Nobody expected us to beat Liverpool at Anfield. You just never know.&quot;
