None footie removing render

I'm thinking of removing the render on the back of my house back to the brick and having it re pointed.As any one ever had that work done?how much is it likely to cost me and who would you recommend.?

 

Depends on a number of things. If the render is quite loose it may come off easy and then it depends on the state of the brick underneath and also if it is brick or blockwork. Also sometimes the render will pull off the face of the brick and won't look too good so you need to get some local advice as you could end up making things worse
