Whilst it was a pm ko, so normally vetoed, I think they allow broadcast on cup weekends don’t they? As that weekend was fourth round day I think that might be why. If not I’ve no idea. Actually thinking about it it’s normally international breaks they allow it isn’t it? No clue.
This isn’t news. All our midweek games have been on Sky+, along with these stupid 1230 kick off fixtures.
There were some L1 games last midweek which weren't on though as originally Saturday fixtures and as original not on TV then rearranged match not shown. I'm surprised next Tues on for that reason.....
Ok I stand corrected - I thought it was all matches, or maybe we’re considered a big club so are always on midweek
As far as I know not ALL midweek games are on Sky, so I thought it might be useful information for people. Sky only added those games to their listings in the last 24 hours. Birmingham play Leyton Orient on Tuesday at the same time as we play Northampton and that's not currently listed (although that's not to say it won't be added in the coming days).
You'd think so, wouldn't you? I wonder if they still have to reach some kind of agreement with the host club before they can announce them.
Generally speaking, if it’s not a 3pm KO it’ll be on SS+. A minimum of 20 games per season for L1+L2 clubs, minimum of 24 for Championship. God, that sounds like my script at work.
Midweek games that are rearranged Saturday pm games originally aren’t normally broadcast. All other midweek games are. Ad this was meant to be a Saturday 3pm, I can’t see why we are being broadcast when other games aren’t and weren’t last week.
