Oh come on mate, you're crazy!

FM08 isn't a game where you play against a league full of fellow humans - let alone members of this BBS. Then there's the fact that it's not trying to be better than FM08, just something similar, on a less in depth scale. To compare the 2 is ridiculous. Add to the fact that this is 100% free, means there can be no proper comparison. What's wrong with admiring both? I like FM08 (although I am pretty pish at it) but I also really like this - the whole interaction with other managers etc, and waiting to see if people accept your bids / bid for your players makes it a bit exciting and unpredictable, like FM can get at times. Now when FML is released that will be more like this type of game, but you will have to pay at least a fiver a month for the privilege.

I am mate - can't seem to get off the site at all! The only time when i'm not on is when i'm at work - and even then I look about 3 times during the day ;-)

I know the novelty will wear off, but until then i'm quite happy as I am! Good luck to you anyway mate, the Mackems will start to climb soon, just like my bottom of the league Scunny. We live in hope eh mate us basement boys. At least you have Henry!

They've been taken now. I had Geoff Horsfield on the verge of leaving for some foreign team, but the new Northampton gaffer has told me to cancel the deal and he'll offer more. So I have now cancelled the original deal, but there's still no offer from Northampton :( wonder if i've been raped?
