    Simeon Jackson, ST
    Korey Smith, CM
    Marc Tierney, LB
    Elliott Ward, CB
    Lee Camp, GK

There all players Barnsley could be looking at and could have a shot at getting.
All would be first teamers too maybe apart from Smith.

I would deffo take a look at Elliott Ward. Also Lee Camp if Steele goes elsewhere.
We have a good left back in Golbourne.
Simeon Jackson will go to a bigger club.
And Korey Smith didn't really impress last season.

Ich bin überrascht, sie lassen Elliott Ward gehen, aber ich glaube nicht, dass er Interesse an uns. aber wenn Sie denken Lee Camp ist halb so gut wie Luke Steele müssen verrückt sein!

Would have Jackson and camp. But couldn't afford them I don't think. Don't think smith is good enough to get in our team. And would probably be a expensive squad player

I thought Smith showed potential when he was on loan the season before last. Given the right guidance he could be a decent championship player. He was with us when we were on the crest of a slump if I recall rightly (I'm sure jay will put me right if I'm mistaken).

I though Korey Smith was a great player. He was played in loads of different positions and in a team that had lost all confidence and consistency.

I reckon he'd be a good signing but do we need another Kelvin/Perkins/Dawson?

If we plan to play a full season using the high energy pressing style we've been playing under Flicker I'd say yes. We were dead on our feet against Charlton, if he'd the option to rest players without diminishing our overall quality he would have done so and I dare say we wouldn't have been gubbed 6-0.

Fair point. But it seems we're going to be going with three in the middle so really one of those two should always be rested...

He played one good half of football. First half against Derby at home. Apart from that he played central midfield in the worst Barnsley team I have ever seen that lost 13 of its last 18 games. He made a large contribution to how bad we were.

But then again so did Dawson, Dagnall, Davies, Wiseman, Foster etc. I thought he looked like he could be a good player and I think judging a loan player after coming into that side is a bit unfair.

Saw nowt to suggest he'd improve our side. That said we've seen the Flicker effect so who knows.

Reckon Elliott Ward would be a decent centre half at this level.

I can definitely see you in a shirt with 'Camp' on the back.

Would love Simeon Jackson, Elliott Ward or Lee Camp.

Don't think we could afford any of them and reckon they'd go higher up the championship.

Wasn't over impressed with Korey Smith when he was here, had a few good games at the start of his loan spell then was very poor towards the back end of the season. Had potential, but I reckon he wouldn't get anywhere near our midfield. Rumoured to be signing permanently for Oldham anyway.

Tierney already signed for Bolton, Ward will go back to Forest.
