Breaking news on SSN. Neil Adams has been named as his replacement.

I think they were going to sack him at the end of the season wether he stopped up or not, hope they go down now

Colin Calderwood & Paul Trollope have also been sacked, but no mention of Dave Watson.

I don't think Watson would have much difficulty in getting a new job. Be ideal if he went to another club with someone in the England team though, either Man City or or a team with one of the up and coming keepers like Butland (preferably when he's finished at Leeds though!). In fact, it would probably be better if he was centrally contracted to England and spent time with all the England and young England keepers in rotation, but whether goalkeeping coaches at the respective clubs would welcome his input is another matter.

I'm not surprised he's wasted millions & not improved the squad

I would think that most Norwich fans would be quite happy being five points clear of the relegation zone.

Quite bizarre to me. PL survival not enough for Norwich then? Short memories..

another club ruined after a tenure in the premier league and chasing instant success thereafter.

I think & hope they will go down now. It all rests on Saturday's match vs Fulham.
It seems Penfold has got Fulham fighting a bit now for survival.

No coincidence that all those in the bottom 3 have already sacked managers. Certainly 2 of them, Cardiff & Fulham
weren't in the bottom 3 when they got the boot.

Always liked Hughton. Hope he gets another job

I believe some of the bottom clubs Cardiff & West Brom in particular were harsh in sacking their manager, Hughton however is lucky it took this long. He wasted a fortune last summer on 2 strikers that can't score & a Dutch international midfielder who doesn't look half the player he was before he came here. They'll go down because they play 4 of the top 7 in their last 4 games & Fulham will probably beat them this weekend

A local view - not that I really follow them but my colleagues and neighbours are pretty much divided.

Played more attractive football than under Lambert but can't score in a brothel. And when they do the goal invariably comes from midfield.

They're all hoping for Malky Mackay but he's got some contractual/grievance stuff to sort apparently.

Resigned to relegation even if they beat Fulham as they're not going to get anything else.

    Planning for next season already.

If they beat Fulham they will stay up.

If they lose they are royally f**ked.

Admittedly I wouldn't have bought someone called Wolf's Winkel ... apart from that they were always gonna struggle to replace Holt.
