I completely disagree with most of the opinion on here. I don't think it was a lack of focus or effort that was the reason behind us losing - i honestly don't think you could fault us for work rate, Devaney in particular must have covered absolutely miles.

I just think it was a lack of quality where we struggled, particularly once Anderson had gone off.

    Missed chances for me

Personally thought there was nothing between either team except they took their chance and we missed

Norwich were average in the extreme....................

summed up by a standing ovation (WTF)for ChedEvans when he was substituted after having been completely anonymous for 99% of the time he was on the pitch.

We matched and at times outplayed Norwich but yet again were undone by a defensive error-Souza again-admittedly a good strike from Cureton. To reiterate the blindingly obvious-we need a striker who can find the back of the net regularly-and pronto-trouble is we are stuck with what we have got.

I thought we played reasonably well. Agree that the quality dropped when Anderson went off...but I think we were unlucky not to get a point out of it.

    I agree

Was amazed how patient their fans were (apart from the numb-nuts in the corner near us) especially in the second half when they literally could not put three passes together.

I think Devaney and JCR are probably a better option than Leon away from home as well.

it may have been risky but....................

I'd have moved Diego to the centre and brought JCR on-Hassell just isn't suited to the midfield role

    RE: I agree

Their fans were awful though in terms of noise...agree though, if it was us playing poorly at home, our fans would've gone mental!

Just went to sho once Anderson went off, there was no plan B for midfield....well...unless you call moving Hassell forward a plan B. Though he'll NEVER make a midfielder

That was my first thought, but I reckon that would've left us more exposed in the middle

    I thought..............

Andersen was having one of his best games for us-very strong on the ball-hope the injury isn't serious

People are always on about how poor the singing ets is at Oakwell

Then they go to an away game and comment on how ***** the home support is.

    Just thinking out loud.

No, very fair point. I said to my mate who came with me (not so much of a football fan, but went to uni in Norwich) that home support is often poor these days, whereas away fans are usually much better,

I think I'm still suprised when I go away and see equally poor home support. I often got the impression we were much worse than other teams, but obviously not

    Going Forward....or not!

Frustrated on Saturday after watching us lose again to an average Norwich side missing three key players. Why Macken was on the bench god only knows as he was a class apart from Stan and Armadillo when he came on, if only Davey would tell all the rest of players what job Kayote has been given when he is on the pitch ie when the ball is in the air be prepared to run ON to the flick he is just about to do..or when he has got hte ball at his feet be prepared to FEED off him...blimey rocket science again.

No idea why JCR never made it on to the pitch, I have put on a few poiunds in my middle aged years but would still fancy myself over 100 yards against disco, he couldn't beat an egg, despite his work rate. It was obvious we needed pace, their back 4 were slow.

Thought Anderson was class above and was the turning point of the game when he went off, first half was poor going forward, very poor and we looked cluless, only changed when Macken came on and put his foot on the ball had a look and passed it to a red shirt...a point to be noted by Leon, Bobby, Brian and Martin me thinks.

Great singing but 20 minutes of "Red Army" was deafening and impressive, not sure if any of you lot know which of the tw*ts decided it was a good idea to stand up all through the second half so that most of us couldn't see half the pitch, but that was disappointing, personally I did not fancy asking them twice if they would like to sit down, might have got myself in a spot of bother if so.....

Still, another year to hope we can turn the farmers over. It's been a while since I can brag down here.
