    Really hope we keep him next season. Changed the game when he came on and gave their centre halves a torrid time. Turned 40:60s into 60:40s and was an all round nuisance. Could have bagged a couple of goals but for good saves.

    Tired towards the end but was doing the work of two. Went down with cramp late in extra time but refused to be subbed off as he wanted to see the game through. Warrior.

    He’s earned the right to be given another season with us. You could see how desperate he was to get a goal.

    I'd start him ahead of any other of our forwards. It's not even a marginal decision in my eyes.

    Justified Duff’s decision to have him on the bench, with extra-time in mind. He couldn’t have played like that for 120 minutes, but bringing him on with fresh legs to chase them down caused Wednesday all kinds of problems. He’d run himself into the ground by the end, but due to Benson’s injury we’d used all our subs. But he was heroic today.

    A great journey for him, from the start of the season where he was unfit and picked up a stupid red card against Lincoln, but finishing as a fan favourite and important part of our team. Hope we get another year from him, cos next year we’re going for the title.

    Edit - read Kev’s comment on another thread. Didn’t realise we were allowed an extra sub in extra-time
