    How will the younger lads such as Potter, Atkinson, Heslop, who are expected to break through to the first team this season, be able to do so with all these signings.

    They wont, the academy's a waste of time.

    Sell it off for houses get some cash in the bank.

    These players have graduated to the first team squad from the Academy so..

    In that respect the Academy has done its job. its not the Academy or the players fault that there's been such an influx of new players.

    Academy players must force their way into the first team on merit. The better players we have at the club the better they will need to be to get into the team. I see no disadvantage here for academy players, indeed the competition will do them good.
