Agreed, they are like a flapping fish...someone please put them out of their misery and teach all the clubs doing this a lesson once and for all

Once milan mandaric sold to sasha gaydamak at something of a huge profit the troubles started , from there on in its been a series of terrible owners realising there is no money in portsmouth fc or football in general, at one stage in the prem they were paying 95% of income/turnover on players wages, with a ground that only holds 20,000 and no corperate facilities its easy to see paying sol campbell and others 95 grand a week isn't going to be sustainable..

sasha gaydamak sold to a geezer called chanrai but kept hold of 90% of the land and holding as security on his payments, chanrai put the club into admin then bought it back... how that can happen il never know then sold it to CSI once all the debts had been cleared , CSI only last week were found the asset stripping banks and practically insolvent and now get this....... it gets better..... chanrai put a charge over the club/CSI to buy it back....

fit and proper and all that..........

I feel sorry for the fans, but this can't be allowed to continue. The fit and proper persons test is an absolute disgrace, the preferred creditors rule will only hurt small businesses who supply to them, the players will earn obscene money.

Sorry Portsmouth, but you need to be the club to be made an example of and hope that can go towards getting football, spending and owndership back on an even footing.

It's not nice for the fans but how many of them were happy to lap up the successes like the FA Cup on an unsustainable budget. We're there no fans groups trying to voice concerns then?

    must get points deduction...

Clubs shouldn't be able to get round it by operating as two different companies. Its an obvious attempts to avoid any possible deductons

fit and proper persons law should be invoked before they can buy the club not after.
