How have we played? Cup match or not this is embarrassing, confidence must be in bits.

Have we shown too much respect or are we just s**t?

Love walking into work with laughter.

I'd prefer to be where Peterborough are at the min.

Deffo a change in attitude from last season. Its embarrassing.

An utter shambles. Kennedy might as well not bothered turning up, JOB can't defend to save his life, Dawson is simply not good enough. Southampton didn't even break sweat, they'd no need to - just wait for our defence to f***-up and the opportunities to score to come.

Really? He was unlucky for the first goal and played ok IMO. Certainly no worse than anybody else.

What about in the first few minutes when he stopped and let their strikers through. Embarrassing and something a schoolboy wouldn't do.

I think he is a liability, no urgency - in fact it looked like he didn't care; or simply not good enough.

He had an incredibly shaky first few minutes. 9 times out of 10 he would have cost us a goal in the first minute tonight. Either not concentrating or disinterested, possibly both. He doesn't look great positionally as a centre-half and his ability to head a ball is almost non-existent. For me, at this level, he's a reserve full-back at best. His distribution was also a little hit and miss tonight.

Strangely we also seem to building the formation around him. With our only tactic being for him to launch it down the left hand side for COG to chase. I've had enough of this quarter-back nonsense, it's not the hardest skill in the world to launch a long, curling, hopeful (hopeless) ball forward.

I'm not as concerned by last night as I am the league games. It's knock out football, at 2-1 we had to take a gamble to try & win the game so we went all out attack. It didn't work, they were a class above lets move on.

This wasn't nearly as worrying as 5 against Blackburn & 4 against Wigan

When did we go all out attack ?

Dagnall and Scotland came on and didn't have a clue where they were playing. We maintained a flat back 5 and kept midfield narrow.
