My mate went this morning and he was about 70th in the queue. From opening at 9:00 it took him 1hr 45mins before he got his tickets. That's only 40 people per hour. If you assume that each person in the queue will have two ST's than that's 80 tickets per hour. The Box Office is open for 10 hours so that's 800 per day. 6,000 season ticket holders so that's 7.5 days. Summat don't stack up - get some agency staff working you tight gets.
Problem is.. they can only go as fast as the antiquated PC's allow them to, plus I think that there are only four machines that can accept credit card payments. They ought to press part of the shop into action. Or set up cash only terminals, but not sure how that would work for teh computer system that records (i think) what tickets have been sold
RE: Problem is.. I would have thought that in this day and age it wouldn't take much to hire another 4 PC's and printers.
more relevant is................ the fact that a large number of people-me included-had 6+ STs-I saw one with about 15 !!
