got up at 7.30 today, especially to beat the traffic.

drove from sheffield only to hit every red light, roadworks and idiot on the road.

eventually get to oakwell at 8.45 to see a massive queue, as i expected.

i go to drive into the car park only to hear that if i'm not a season ticket holder i have to wait until 1pm to get a ticket. sorry but i can't take that time off! so i had to drive home pissed right off that it didn't state on the website that i would have to wait until 1pm, and if it did...obviously not clear enough!

hopefully i'll be able to get back up tomorrow and get the tickets then instead.

Sorry to hear that, but in BFC defence it clearly gives you the info for how and when to get your tickets if you are not a season ticket holder. and all day yesterday on this board most people posted the info.

Hope you can get back this afternoon or tomorrow. We need your support!!!!!

It is clear on the official site

Due to the expected demand for tickets and the short time scale, the following arrangements will apply for the above game.Season ticket holders' seats will as normal be reserved until kick off on Thursday 11th May and must be purchased personally through the box office.Tickets will be available as follows:

    Tuesday 9th May: 9am - 7pm

    Wednesday 10th May: 9am - 7pm.

    Thursday 11th May: 9am - kick off

To assist in the sale of tickets for all areas to non season ticket holders, the East stand turnstiles will be open on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th May, from 1pm to 8pm. Any remaining unsold tickets after that time will be available on the turnstiles from 6pm on Thursday 11th on a first come first served basis.

And no disrespect but Season ticket holders should be the 1st in line to get tickets.

Not questioning loyalty to the cause or anything, but I think its right.

To be fair, it is not crystal clear for non-ST holders

It could have said "The sale of tickets for all areas to non season ticket holders will take place through the East stand turnstiles from 1pm to 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday"

By saying "to assist .. etc" it sounds like the East Stand turnstiles are an extra service in the afternoon, in addition to the the normal box office hours.

    here ...
