Got paid today so phoned up at 3:15 to renew season ticket - tried to go through main switch board but was given the 0871 number. Got through at position number one - promising - I was then cut off. Phoned again then waited 25 minutes to get through to position one - cut off again. Phoned main switchboard - they apologised and put me through - guess what cut off again. Phoned main switch board again - apologised - took my number and they said they'd phone me straight back. This was at 4:15 - 5:00 no response so I phoned back -ticket office closed!!! Don't tou want my money!</p> </p> Oh by the way I really didn't want to hear about an academy game that took place last November or what I could have bought last Christmas for my partner! Sorry very amateurish. To make matters worse I was encouraged to come and watch the academy that hase given us players such as Kay, Tonge and Wroe in our current first team squad! (doh) </p> </p> </p>
and to make matters even worse/more embarrassing, people at the club is aware of the fact that it still advertises old things and has been for some time yet it appears that nobody has taken the initiative to sort it out
Same thing happened to me on Monday, I was in position one and held for 50 minutes before being cut-off (£5). I sent an email to complain and asked them to contact me which they did on Wednesday and they virtually called me a liar. They said the maximum anyone could wait was 16 minutes before being cut-off and are soon to reduce it to 12 minutes. I said I had held on for 50 minutes to be told there is no way I could have..... I give up!
I'm going to e-mail them If they start getting arsey about it then I'll wait until next month and send them a copy of the bill. Those adverts have got to be heard to be believed! (
It actually said for further options press 0 I pressed zero and then it said this is not a viable option!
RE: Had the same trouble last year booking match tickets Do you think I'll get the fiver back on the phone call if I ask em! Very bad - i've phoned up a few times at Anfield to get tickets and never had this problem and I've actually been at position 50 in a queue!
aaaaarang up today and renewed my season ticket. 3rd attempt but wasn't left hanging on the phone for more than 1 min. suppose I dropped lucky then!
