Nothing at stake today, still playing so negative - next season is really looking inviting if thats what we have to look forward to.

I agree completely and wholeheartedly with the OP. This one up front stuff is absolute nonsense unless your keeping clean sheets. Which we aren't. Literally no attacking intent at all. The counter arguement is 'no wingers'. Don't see why that stops you playing two up top though.

No wingers makes playing 5 midfielders even stupider in my opinion.

Damn right its not. I am on the point here of renewing for next season to save with the early bird offer. I'll do just because I know I'll go anyway next season but to be honest I am not really looking forward to it. As you say, the negative tactics, which only bear out what the Oldham fans said would be the case, combined with another clear out and start again, and the net result, in my opinion, is that next season will be just about as piss poor as this one, we'll be bottom half of the table and LJ will be out by Christmas.

I still think we have dropped a right b0llock sacking Danny Wilson. No way have we finished any higher than we would have done if he had stayed.

I can see what you're getting at as it really isn't looking good at present. Don't think it would've been any better if Danny had stayed tho.....in fact it could've been worse. Big summer ahead.

Nothing negative about playing one up top. What's negative is playing without wingers & midfielders that run beyond the striker.

He deserves the benefit of the doubt until he has a pre-season & the chance to bring in his own wide men.

If the football's still negative in November then slate him all you want as far as I'm concerned
