Just seen something about this, they've banned a supporter, I get his point though, when will it be enforced for away supporters. @Gally didn't see any attempt on Saturday to ask 5000 Derby fans to remain seated always seems pot kettle black when it comes to enforcing the same policy across the stadium. Personally I choose to sit my left knackered knee couldn't cope but I get the younger end want to stand.
I used to go with my wifes brother in law and nephew to Cardiff occasionally, they were dreadful for it.
I have given up on away games re sitting as normal. occasionally having to stand cos some nob on the front row decides they've paid to get in and do what they want. I've started to order tickets on the front row for our more disabled (unable to stand for long periods) on our coaches. Wo betide anyone trying to nick em. Our older ladies can be hostile.
I genuinely thought I missed standing at a football match my last two visits to Burton tell me i definitely don't,in my head I'm still in my twenties but my body tells me most definitely otherwise.
Definitely not just us, despite what many on here want to believe. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2023/...id-persistent-anfield-road-standing-concerns/ https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/reminder-fans-persistent-standing https://www.stockportcounty.com/club-statement-persistent-standing/ https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com...ding-at-turf-moor-ahead-of-the-2023-24-season https://www.tranmererovers.co.uk/news/2023/august/persistant-standing/ https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/appeal-on-persistent-standing https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20190723-supporters-reminded-about-persistent-standing/ https://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/2023/february/news-warning-issued-about-persistent-on-matchdays/
Looking at other forums it seems a common theme that home supporters are saying away fans keep getting away with it. One group claimed they were told by the SGA that it is better to allow than to risk creating an incident.
Was just about to make the same post, Gally. People need to stop blaming the club for things outside of our control.
