Just seen it and freeze-framed the replay. Luke catches the ball cleanly and has it under control until he lands and finds Cranie in his way. Just one of those things, a footballing incident.

There, that's that settled. As you were.

sorry totally disagree, Steele dropped a bollock he never had it under control and Cranie was totally blameless IMHO,

    First time I've seen it.

Luke drops the ball before any collision. It's his mistake.

But does he deserve stoning? No.

Can't for the life of me see why Cranie's goal was disallowed. And going off the highlights, we looked unlucky.

    Onto Wigan. PICK PADDY! :D

    Goodnight, BBS.

Let's be frank. Cranie goal was legit. 2-0 game won. Got robbed. From 2-0 we'd have won

    Like we did against Ipswich?

We seriously need to learn some defensive nous. And fast.

I love Luke Steele to bits. I think he's a fantastic 'keeper at this level. He's also been here a long time and I tend to really warm to players who stick with us, which is one of the reasons I'm so fond of Bobby Hassell (and Foster before we got rid). Was Steele at fault for their first today? Yes, a bit. But like you said, it's one of those things. He was positive, he came out and caught the ball, but he collided with one of our own and dropped it. It was a mistake, but not a horrendous one, even if it did cost us a goal.
On the flip side of that he also produced a couple of fantastic saves and ran out at a Donny forward who was clean through and scared the bejesus out of him. The forward didn't know what to do, so just fell down.

Not all of our players were great today, although a couple were, but every man Jack of them worked their butt off and got a creditable draw against, despite their position in the table, a decent footballing side. If you came away from that and ignored all the positives only to focus on the negatives then you're dead inside.

And a deflection for the other one? Sometimes those things go your way and you win...
