Tried mi best to avoid it.

    Thoughts:

Still feel sorry for Wiseman. Had a big job against Helguson and he wasn't up to it - not his fault. Switched out to right back and he delivered crosses that gave our best chance (Tudgay - how the f.ck did he miss?) and the goal.
Thought Greening looked a bit rusty but showed touches.
Tudgay scores that and it's a different game - goals change games, we just don't score enough. See Dawson's effort too.
We lacked any sort of width throughout. Not sure what formation we started off with but it seemed that Done was wide right, Mellis drifting out left and Dawson anywhere. Poor.
Tudgay & Davies only seemed to get the ball with their back to the goal. Need better service - when we got crosses in and RNL came on we looked dangerous.
Foster should be first on the team sheet with Cranie at centre half (no f.cking back heels though)
Golbourne needs a rest, as does Dawson.
We created chances and looked like we had ideas - something we haven't for 2 months.

    My side Tuesday would be:

    Steele
    Wiseman
    Foster
    Cranie
    McNulty or Kennedy
    O'Brien
    Greening
    Buzsaky
    RNL
    Tudgay
    Davies

And then we need some stability. Too much chopping and changing chasing a result.

But in summary, we're outside the relegation places, 4 places above where the vast majority suspected we would be at this time of the season. We've had a bad run but that's on the back of a relatively decent run those first 10 games or so. We'll be reight.

So agree with you to an extent. We will only be reight if he plays footballers instead of Dones.

We were better when Dawson went off too. I like him but perhaps we need to go with the quality...

We put probably two crosses in and scored from one if them and then introduced pace and directness in RNL and got them a man sent off and had two pen shouts...

As badly as we played in the first hour, there WERE opportunities to score. Dawson's terrible miss being one example.

Exactly. And we looked fine for twenty minutes. That goal just knocked it out of us. But we had two clear chances to score. We created more clear cut than Cardiff in my opinion.

I felt sorry for Done - like I said I dunno where he was meant to be playing but it wasn't as a winger. Wingers pointless if you don't give 'em the ball in the right areas.

Been really impressed by RNL lately, looks close to a start. And Dawson looks knackered and we really miss Perkins.

Why feel sorry for him? He's playing two leagues above his level and has probably quadrupled his money.

Because he's lost all confidence that he'd built after a few good displays at the start of the year. I can't imagine it did him much good hearing cheers when he was moved out to right back.

He was poor. He was poor against Huddersfield too. But him being played in central defence isn't his fault, it's Keith's. He talks about protection, I reckon Wiseman needs some.

He knows deep down that he isn't good enough.

For me, and its rare I play team selection games, that team would be oreight if Goldbourne/Kennedy on left side and Hassell/Edwards in centre along side Foster. Cranie for me would only be played at right back if we were down to bare bones and never as a central defender.

Put Edwards down not knowing if he`s that much cop either, another of Keefs hidden under the injury pile.

I agree with a lot of what you said Dyson but that centre half pairing of McNulty and Wiseman was a joke. While I dont think Wiseman is as bad as some make out I think he creates some of his problems himself. If he'd bothered to jump and head a ball in the penalty area from time to time he might look like a better defender. If I was Steele I think I'd have got sent off on Saturday for kicking my own defenders up in the air.

I think we'll see a lot more chopping and changing coming up to a busy Christmas period. He needs to keep the team fresh and now we have a decent sized squad I think there will be rotation.
