Couple of good enough sides ..... Burton / Walsall ...... but no 'stand out' sides who are running away with things. All the better teams this time seem to be the ones with somewhat limited resources.
Rochdale were good. Burton were organised. Walsall were effective. Didn't go to Coventry or Peterborough so I can't comment on them, but other than that I agree. The standard really does seem a par below last season and we don't seem to be able to compete.
It's a woefully poor league and we're officially the worst side in it at this point. What more does Cryne need to see before he acts ffs.
