So watching the replay of the game, why did the ref allow the freekick to be taken a good 15 yards away from initial foul for their first goal. We break up the start of an attack just for Ref to let them take freekick wherever they please. I know defending after shouldve been better but if they had to put ball back to area they were fouled in then our midfield and attackers wouldve been back in positions atleast and therefore we probably wouldnt have conceded.

It was mentioned loads on Saturday. The ref had a very relaxed attitude to this and throw-ins, where Coventry players were allowed to take an extra few metres , but we were made to take them from the exact point where the ball crossed the line.

But there was ample opportunity to stop the ball getting into the box for their goal, plus loads of time for Davies to command his 6yd area and claim the ball, plus no excuse for Williams to watch the ball sail over his head. Catalogue of errors, basically....

My bad, didnt read through all comments in the different topics as i was busy over the weekend. Just didnt see a topic on the ref like I normally would when they have a bad one so didnt think it was mentioned. But by sounds we need pinillos, think williams is good but not quiet first team regular ready yet.

I don't get why Zeki Fryers is constantly overlooked.

I guess we don't see what goes on on the training pitch. Perhaps he isn't making enough effort or just isn't doing anything to convince the gaffer to play him.

I think Stendel likes Coronation Street and thinks Simon Barlow is a little ****. With Zeki Fryers looking like his older brother he's being dropped. Someone needs to tell Stendel it isn't real.

    Come off it, Stephen.
Young Simon Barlow has really got his act together, lately, because he wants to go boating around Greece with his Dad, reformed alcoholic, Peter. Though his reunion with Carla, and subsequent selling of the boat, for Gary Windass' hush money, may scupper that.

...erm, according to my Mrs anyway. I don't watch that ****, oh no, not me, I watch man programmes for men n stuff...
