Just been told via the Garden fence that Dave Hancock has been sacked. Also been told that all the coaching staff has been out on the lash to celebrate. Looks like Simon has got one of his wish list sorted out early. Can't stand the big headed bragging name dropper and neither could the staff. Hope it true
The problem lies deeper than titch Hancock, how can we attract the best young uns when we dont give a chance to academy players.
You can only give them a chance if there good enough and now with no reserves games, there's no stepping stone anymore.
Now that would surprise me. Dave and Pat were mates. I understand Dave was employed by Pat before the Club went into Admin.
Surprised me big time if it's true, most of the clubs academy coaching staff will be clapping their hands.
That came via city tyke didn't it? Who said that PC told him he didn't know dave hancock until after he took over at bfc (PC that is).
RE: Not according to Pat. When where and what time did you here that or do you have Pats phone number. The person that told me has always been spot on in the past. Not often he says anything but when he does he's usually not far off.
Academy director or something along those lines Ant Kays stepdad too and father of academy player charlie hancock. I THINK their simon was at the club too at one bit but not sure.
Listen I'm not pro club that the mo Just from the soundbites I have heard its not entirely true what you have heard on here.
I'm lucky enough to have been privy to hearing it.
But don't let that get in the way.
Carte Blanche and all that

RE: Listen I'm not pro club that the mo If you know owt, spit it out. I spend a little of my spare time down at the club watching academy and reserve football. So does the bloke next door and he usually picks up on what happening around the club.
I wasn't saying you didn't hear it from cryne, I just thought you was referring to when ex city tyke posted on here. Sorry for the confusion
No reserve games? Or less reserve games? I was under the impression there would still be adhoc games organised.
